Looking for any suggestions on a MA inspection site that won't break my chops over a slip-on.
Something close to Attleboro or Seekonk would be ideal.
I can hump it up to Cycles 128 and get it there but would rather not.
Thanks for any suggestions...

do most places in MA give you a hard time for a slip-on? That's rediculous.
Take it to a hardley shop - they will pass anything
Bras cause cancer.
I don't know what to expect with a slip on, I only have gone thru 1 sticker inpsection and it was the parts guy (friend) at Cycles walking with me and the bike to the service bay and having the mgr. get me a sticker. The best part was I left my wallet at home and had the parts guy float me the $ for the sticker.
The bike is not loud at idle but is noisy with the throttle.
Thanks for the suggestions I'll give one of those shops a try!

I've had stickers done with slip-ons, no problems...

Great hope my only problem is over-worrying about the sticker.
I come from past experience where a quiet borla on a 2.5 V-6 had me shuffling from station to station, slipping a guy $50 to have my 79 camaro passed, buying stickers from some dude in a barbershop for my 5.0, etc. etc. It sounds like bikes are not as stringent at least in a MA inspection bay...

I agree with the harley shop idea..... I was wondering where to go a while back with my tail light integrator on. Ended up going to a place called V-Twin performance. I though hey, I have a twin, he HAS to like me even if its a harley shopIn and out in 5 minutes...
Find a Harley shop... my bike passed with a slip on and flush mounts.

Dude - I was driving to the RI registry like a madman to get away from the socialist fixed insurance rates of MA. I promptly turned around and went home when my agent called me and said my insurance was going up $400 on my Tacoma 4-cyl stripper and that they were still trying to find someone who would even insure me on an SV.Originally posted by R7

I was a step 16 at the time, I am now a 14. 31 y/o at the time & with good credit (it amazes me it's legal to use credit to give insurance regardless of what the statistics tell)
I told her I'd get back to her on switching the policy.
The agent told me that RIs rates are even worse than MA, which to me was amazing.
This whole state is a complete CF when it comes to fees and taxes. The more I think about it, I couldn't get up out of here fast enough.![]()

I know I won't have a problem with my slip on ( micron ) seeing that the inspection station / bike shop sells them and he gets most of my business....

I take all my bikes there and I have never had an issue with anything.
They are about 25 min from Seekonk
