Bought a Alpinestars Cape Town jacket in high viz yellow this summer and tried cleaning up yesterday, as it was starting to turn black in areas. Hit it with some simple green and tossed it in the washer machine on gentle, seems like the dirty areas just got blotchy? Any on ideas how to clean high viz textile?

I'll ask my gramps next time I see him
My Tourmaster Transition 2 has ~70k miles and still looks great, just figured I would be able to clean the Alpinestars jacket like the Tourmaster.
I make a paste with Oxyclean powder and water, scrub it in all over with a brush, let it sit for a while and then wash it. Works like a charm.

I'm nor sure if I would have started with simple green. Perhaps some dawn dish soap and a good scrubbing?
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
a good roaring fire is the only way to get them clean. so clean in fact you need to buy a new one.
