Help, Borrow a R1200GS Seat

Hi,

I am looking to borrow an R1200 GS seat for 2 days next week, specifically friday (the 26th).

I need to get my bike to service for that day and my seat is being worked on and its gone for the next 3 weeks.

Help appreciated and gladly repaid with.......whtever is appropriate for such an act of kindness.

would the seat from another model fit yours? such as an R1150 or an R1100S?

Saw your post on ADV (kudos on the akra by the way, hope its working out well).
I'll check to see if its possible - mainly will revolve around carpooling with my wife for the commute

i just checked on a R1100 fitting the R1200GS.. it will not fit.

Manny you can borrow my Stock seat for my 1200 GSA if you want to come to whitinsville to get it. I will be home after 4 today through Sunday. Let me know.

As a back up plan you could borrow my R1200GS Seat- non A, but I beleive they're interchangeable

I did that with my OEM seats last year and it's why my Sargent never got broken in

I did, and I am going to check with her monday to come pick it up. She lives right there.

I sent mine to Russell Day Long.
