Hey Guys! Just picked up a gsxr 600 2 months ago. I have gotten a bit more comfortable on cornering but the bike probably can handle better with adjusting the suspension. I am a newbie, if anyone can help me out that will be great. I'm in quincy but willing to travel. Thanks and safe riding!
go to GMD Computrack. he'll do it for $25 and you'll have a professional setting it so you'll know it's correct.
And WELCOME to the forum...
Yeah, Pete at GMD can get you sorted on short coin.

I wouldn't quote prices 3rd party like that. I'd let pete tell his own prices. I highly doubt it would be $25 to set suspension at his shop. He would have to stop the job he is on etc. :-)Originally Posted by scubasteveRR
I would start by talking to Peter and then folowed by a few BostonMoto Track Days to ensure propper setup.........then you can sell everything you have, beg borrow and steal and go racing.. by then you will feel better about your setup..![]()

What set up are you looking for???
Street , track day or race?
GMD
or check out magazines or how about the owners manual for a base setting.
Set your sag first, if you can. if not you will need the proper springs. again GMD can help you out with that as well. don't be afraid to turn the screws.

Awesome book. " Sportbike suspension tuning " by Andrew Trevitt.
Still have 4 trackdays left this year at New Hampshire track... I think Pete from GMD plans to be there and I think the $25 number is correct for doing it at the track.
Having said all that, there are basic settings you can get from SportRider magazine that will get you in the ballpark
This might get you close.
