I recently had my bike painted while I was on the west coast for work and I need a little help... A friend of mine does vinyl decal work and we want to do something with the bike but I need some ideas... This was before the fresh paint. The bike is now all gloss black with a red windscreen, sliders, and swingarm spools. Any ideas would be great

so this going to be another one of those "it's not the way i would customize my bike, therefore it's wrong" threads.
note he asked what he should do for vinyl wraps on the bodywork. never at any point did he mention swingarm chances.
i award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.![]()

Do nothing, keep it all black and untagged.
Or maybe, one, fine red pinstripe might work somewhere.

Bunch of dickheads. Seriously...
Personally, I wouldn't have changed it. I fookin' love the look of the superimposed flames...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Oh you guys did it now!! Dad is all sorts of unhappy!

Not unhappy... just figured that was enough so I cleaned up the thread to keep it on track.
I mean, people were pig piling on this guy for a friggin swingarm.Like so many others have said... This is "New England STREET Riders".... and plenty of people have ext. swingarms on their street bikes.

I bought the bike the way it was in the first picture so it was already stretched and slammed.. The only thing I had done was cut the can down. I know the frame sliders really stand out but I wanted to go with red and black. The vinyl will most likely be a darker red like the wheel stripes and i'm doing red seats and having the exhaust powder coated black. I was also thinking about doing red led's in the fairings. I like the pinstripe idea and i'm also gonna check out number plates.
My brother in law has the same exact bike with basically the same scheme - except all carbon fairings....He has polished rims with red hubs/spokes (stockers, just refinished) that he is looking to sell if you're interested....
His red bits are - passenger seat, chain gaurd, windscreen, and red carbon mirrors....Little touches here and there...I like it...I'm not diggin' your red sliders, makes those the center of attention rather than the bike...
50th anniversary scheme. red blocks, like CEOs race bike

Nobody likes minimalist/simple looks anymore? I love the all black bikes with no fancy graphics like some of the Ducatis. Even this bike looks cool to me with no decals on it. I must be living in a different time/world.
