I didn't know this kid, but knew of him... this hit the community pretty hard. Another is not good at all.

Bow man killed in motorcycle crash

A Bow man was killed yesterday and his son was injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a pickup truck, the police said.

Mark Hinton, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Bow, the police said.

Mark Hinton Jr., 25, was a passenger on the motorcycle driven by his father. He was taken to Concord Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The elder Hinton was driving the motorcycle northbound on South Street in Bow about 2:48 p.m. when it collided with a pickup truck driven by Raymond Barnard, 47, of Auburn, Maine, the Bow police said in a release.

Barnard was making a left turn into the parking lot of the Hampton Inn, the police said. He wasn't injured in the crash.

The elder Hinton wasn't wearing a helmet, according to police Chief Erin Commerford. She didn't know if his son was wearing a helmet because he was transported to the hospital before she arrived at the scene.

Speed and alcohol weren't at play in the crash, the police said. It remains under investigation.

Same day I nearly got smeared by a blue haired biddy in a two lane wide left at a light. I was in the outside lane. This weekend seems crazy.

everyone be extra cautious ..... there are some crazy drivers that dont know how to drive safe...

yesterday on nine... my self and a few riders were on nine...
i was in one lane and a buddy was in the other.... and a truck drove right between us and almost clipped me...
