Help with wiring/electrical system

anybody here good with electrical systems on bikes?

my ninja 250's ass end plastics fell off a couple weeks ago while riding and the incident stripped the wiring clean and as a result my brake light no longer works and the license plate bulb isn't on either . strange part is, the directionals still work on both sides?

any ideas on where i can get parts/help/assistance with fixing this! I'm selling the bike at the end of next month so i want to get as much riding on her before we part ways and i upgrade to the FZ6

I could probably help you some weekend. If you can get a wiring diagram that would be great.

Before you get any help, check all the fuses. When the back end fell of there could have easily been a short that popped those fuses.

What year is your 250? I have the service manual and supplement that covers 1986 to 2005. I can scan the relevant wiring diagrams and send then to you.

If you want to come by this way sometime (ether stow or woburn) I'll give you a hand. Sounds like just a matter of rerunning a couple wires.

Is it bad enough where you can't connect the same wire colors together or do you need help making those connections?
