I bought the Hero 960 for $149 a few weeks ago. The motorsports HD Hero 2 is on sale at Motowheels for $239.

I really want one of these,but damn it's impossible to find it cheaper than $299..Seems like GoPro really is a stickler for MAP.

The OP is right about the Hero HD 1. The Hero HD 2 is brand new and not likely to below MSRP.. at least I haven't seen it for less.
