My dad has a 1981 Honda CX500 deluxe, he took it to bettencourts because it was leaking oil. They are playing games with him. Where is there a good shop to go to get it repaired without them lying and trying to get him to buy a new bike. Bettencourts told him they called and left a message(liars). The person who talked to him tried to get him to buy a new bike, which he does not want to do, when he called back later the guy said he was just kidding. My dads bike was supposed to be worked on 6-19, and when my dad spoke to Jim in the service department today he said he would tell him what is wrong with it on Monday 6-30. Has anyone had bad experiences with them before? Where oh where to go that is dependable??
Thanks,
Jen
My dad says they are being jerks enough to make him think about buying a Harley.....![]()

I heard the parts department is decent there by a friend who goes there all the time. I guess he got quoted some seriously warped prices for an oil leak on his 1983 Nighthawk 650 though, so he brought it elsewhere. I'll try to find out the name of the place he took it; the guy did a good job and kept him informed as to the best way to do things.
