    Actually, it wasn't all bad. He's just missing a lot of little shit. We didn't really get anything back on permanantly, in fact we were stopped in our tracks when someone noticed the subframe was cracked...

    But we did get to 'dry fit' everything and get a damn good idea of how to get it all back together...

    Huge thanks to Rich and his family for putting up with us, and laying out a schmeg breffis spread...

    Let us know when you're ready to finish that shit up, Rich. We're probably just as eager as you now to get that thing together...

    Is the crack in the sub frame the same one I had welded??? I hope not,, If you get stuck and can't find anyone to fix it and it is the same one I had taken care of Ship it to me and I will take care of it no charge.. It is light and would be cheap to fix.. Let me know how you make out with it

    No Bob, it's a different crack. (Hee hee...I said 'crack'). There's a few shops around where Rich is gonna be moving to that can weld aluminum. So once he gets that squared away, buys some mounting screws (available as a 'kit'?) and a repair manual, that bitch'll be up & running!!!

    Jay, JC, Ed, Randy, Degs & Mick... thanks for coming over. I know some of you travelled quite a ways and I really appreciate the effort. If I had looked at that subframe a little closer I may have noticed the BIG fookin crack. Anyway, subframe is off this morning being repaired. I will try to locate a service/repair manual and bolt kit. I'm moving this coming weekend but anytime after that you guys are available let me know.

    Mick... as a side note, my mother wanted to know who the guy was that was riding the "purple" bike and had the cute accent. Can I start calling you daddy-o now?

    Hey Degs... thanks for posting that Q on the 929 Forum.

    I located a full service manual... $65. + $1.95 s&h. I'm gonna get order it today, it'll be delivered in 3/4 days.

    I'm having some trouble locating a "bolt kit" for this tho. I can get whatever bolts I need but no one seems to put together a complete set of 'em. I've got a glue gun though, that'll keep her together!

    Thanks again, you guys rock! Next time you guys come up I'll see if I can get my hand on some good "caske" beer. I know you european guys dig that piss warm beer.

    Register, and select your bike, then you can get all the parts microfiche piccies and download/print them ready for next time. This will make life A LOT easier when we put your bike back together.

    The subframe is being welded today... still trying to figure out what to do about the missing bolts... wish I knew exactly what I'm missing.

    Anyway... with the printout's and frame back I should be good to go shortly.
