svrider.com everything u need to know here im also a member, glad to have u on the sv train! v-twin woot!
I've got an 06 and I've loved every single mile on mine! I'd HIGHLY suggest doing stainless lines and then springs/fluid/rear shock. I haven't installed my suspension goodies yet, but I've been told it's an amazing difference. The galfer stainless lines I have made a pretty substantial difference in braking performance.
Other than those two I'd say get a slip on to enjoy the sound of the motor and then ride the crap out of it
And yes, join svrider.com!
Thanks, i just put 110 more miles on it todayhad to make use of this good weather, went up to the app gap and back through huntington, hinesburg area, was a great ride but a little cold in the shade.
i was most likely going to do the ss brake lines, good to know there is a big diff from them. what brand/where did you get the springs and rear shock from? i've been eyeing a leo vince slip on, maybe next paycheck will make that happenand yea i joined svrider.com the day i bought it, and am amazed at the wealth of knowledge on there.
any of you sv riders remotely close to the burlington vt area?

Best of luck with the bike. My suggestions in order of value-add:
Gel seat (if the azz ain't happy nobody happy)
Aftermarket rear shock / reworked front forks
Stainless brake hoses (front only)
Vesrah RJL pads
Slip on exhaust (stocker is very heavy)
Suburban machinery bars
If you are doing track days, rearsets and pilot powers are key.
The best part of these bikes is the diversity of mods. Go on SV Rider and there will be tips for other purposes, i.e. touring, 4-seasons riding, etc.
