    Refresh of my Ducati

I rarely post but wanted to show what I've been doing all winter. I think it came out pretty good.

It all started when I got a new tank from Ducati late last year. A warranty issue that didnt cost me a cent. With a brand new tank the rest of the bike looked a little tired. I bought it new in '05 and done really nothing to it.

I ended up getting a set of 3 way adjustable Showas off ebay and had them redone with Racetech goodness. Eric, from Clubhouse Motorsports, did the rebuild on the forks.

I upgraded the stock 300mm brakes to 320 discs with goldline 4 piston Brembos and HH pads.

I took the stock triples and ground down all the casting marks... making them smooth. I also installed new head bearings while everything was apart. I then had the triples powdercoated to match the tangerine paint on the bike.

Many pieces were powdercoated ..... triples, belt covers, lower forks, swingarm, handlebars, horn covers, and I even pimped out my gas grill.

I also had some black hard coat anodizing done. Upper fork tubes, rear height rod, rear brake mounting plate, Ohlins damper mounts, and risers.

I took the stock exhaust and replaced the udder with a DP front pipe. Coring the cans to open them up a bit. The top can had a guard bolted to it. I took it off and had the bolt holes tigged and ground smooth. Then the whole system was ceramic coated. Very smoooth and you'd never know there were holes there.

Because I run twin headlights I made this ABS piece that hides all the wiring behind the lights.

I had some help on the project.

Posted pictures are in random order.

New Michelin 2Ct front and rear

And the end result of all my hard work.

Thanks to the following businesses for helping me out.

Nate from Frosty Finishes for making the remaining plastics look good as new.

Clubhouse Motorsports for rebuilding the forks.

Powder Coating Alternatives for the great color match

Central Metal Finishing for the hard coat anodizing

HP Coatings for the ceramic work on the exhaust(the tig work too)

    Very nice.
I am impressed and I love the Orange.
+1 on the rear sprocket. The only negative point on the bike.
