Went to go take care of the title of the TT600 so I can ride the
bike home. It turns out the front tire is pretty much toast. It
actually has a fairly odd wear pattern, worn only on one side.
So, I was thinking if I am one lucky bastard I might be able to find
a shop near Oakham that could throw a set of tires on for me while I wait on Friday (I know, its asking alot, but I'll be optimistic).
The good news is that I did get to take the bike for a spin, and
neglecting the slight wobble caused by the weird front tire wear,
its one fast bike
Any recommendations on a shop that may be able to throw a few tires on for me on Friday?
Cheers,
Chris
But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.
Hmm, well I tried callin A-1 in Brookfield, but they would only take me if I brought just the tires, not the whole bike, but given that the reason I am trying to find a shop out there because I will have JUST picked up the bike, that won't really work....
