Hit and run death of motorcyclist in providence

Christopher Lucero, 18, was killed Saturday night while driving his motorcycle in Olneyville. He was traveling on Manton Avenue when he was hit by a white van, which dragged him and his motorcycle for about a half-mile, police said.

Glad they caught the driver, for what its worth.

These accidents always make me upset because the general sentiment (both from the public and in the legal system) is "Oops, didn't see you there". A motorcyclist dies, the driver gets hit with a few fines, and the world moves on like he never existed

Holy shit, he was a security guard at my office. Had no idea he was a rider. Nice guy, also never would have guessed he was so young. RIP
