Wow! As a replacement for the EX500, this is VERY nice. It's surely better looking than an SV, I wonder if a parallel twin can compete with a 90 degree twin?

they are putting that motor in a streetfighter style bike...i was thinking the same twin about it.. is vtwin better

That parallel-twin may be able to rev higher than a v-twin 650. More revs = more air pumped = more HP?

There's speculation that engine will find its way into a KLR650 replacement.

Hmmm... What's not to like? It's got clean lines, nothing dorky in the headlight dept, a braced swingarm, direct link rear shock.

OK, so the tail is overly plain, and the footpeg panels would have to go in favor of rearsets. The exhaust is fine. When was the last time you rode with you're heels UNDER the footpegs? Traditional exhaust are much more in the way of your heel as they pass behind and above the footpegs ???

I'm not sayin it's gorgeous, just that it's pretty nice lookin for a cheap bike...

As an SV owner i can say that is a nice looking Ninja!

The rear shock looks interesting, I wonder how that works in practice...
