What was even more funnier was when Half-Squid got the bike started for Gerard and then it stalled out once he got on.

When I first got to the track I found the WR by the first set of Garages on the kickstand with nobody in siteWonder who has it?? Come to find out somebody flooded the engine and couldn't get it going. So when I got back to the pit they asked if I could start it and bring it back. So 2 Kicks Vrooooooom!
haha!!Probably helped it sat for a while! But instead of bringing it back I thought I earned the right to go for a cruize and headed over to T6 to watch a race @ the Bowl.
I had to start that dam thing 5 times that day!![]()

Keep your dam hands off the throttle!!!! You'll flood it everytime, and it's a bitch to kick the excess fuel out!!!
I gave up after the 5th time and explained how to start it to those that wanted to try! Oh you also dont want to try to kick it without boots on!!!Anybody get there shin??
Derek was nice enough to start it for someone, Derek picked up starting it easily.

good luck
once you get it down, its a piece of cake.
the hard part is getting the bike going when you have stalled on a root on a steep hill, have to pull in the clutch, hold the front brake, pull in the decomp lever and kick out all the flooded fuel, then go through the starting drill mean while the sweat from your helmet is streaming into your eyes and fogging your goggles, so once you get it started you take your hand off the clutch , (cause you need the brake to keep from rolling back down the hill) .to clear your goggles and stall it again, only to go through the whole thing all over again.
Yeh I have been there.

Sean can also help you learn the Hill Climb Superman manouver.![]()
I can teach you the hammer the gas through a mud bog only to meet a tree and smash the headlight!!! I dont suggest doing this on purpose! One you could get yourself injured , but most importantly it costs $195 to replace the stock headlight and plastic casing!!, Go for Accerbix aftermarket stuff !!!!

Oh and one thing they don't cover in the video, is when you do flood it bad and can't for the life of you get it started.
turn off the fuel
put it in neutral or just pull in the clutch
pull out the red hot start nob
pull in the decomp lever
kick the kick starter 15 times
then go through the normal starting drill
hand off the throttle,
fuel on
hot start nob out
kick down and back up as many times as it takes to find the hard spot
decomp lever in , down on the kicker 1 inch
let go of decomp, and kick all the way through
happy riding
