Well last night we were out in Boston, and someone came into the bar and said someone had knocked over a bike out side, I went out and sure enough my bike was on its side, supposedly according to the only guy that saw anything, a kid was walking down the street, pretended he was going to sit on it and kind of put weight onto it and knocked it over. The damage that I can see is the brake lever is shaped like a U, and it is very loose so something must have popped, the front turn indicator is broken, the mirror is broken and the back tail fairing is cracked, not to mention the scratches on the side fairing. I am insured, do I just call them and tell them what happened? Any help is really appreciated.

It might be not worth it to get 3 points for that. I would say just fix it yourself. Then find the bastard and kill him.
Bruce
3 points? Where did you pull that out of?
It is only subject to your comprehensive on your insurance. You weren't driving it. Depends on your deductible. Some have $500 other has $50. If its $500 don't bother, if its $50???

Maybe you are right, I am thinking of a minor accident but you are right, you were not on it. Then call the INS co. Still kill the guy though.
Bruce

Call your insurance agent, tell him what happened and ask him about your options. Then get an alarm, it's really worth it when you live in Boston. Trust me.
