Yeah man I agree. Last year when I bought my 848EVO arctic white silk I contemplated painting it the Corse colors. That was before rumors started about an 848 like yours.

I test rode a couple of bikes, then test rode the managers Corse 848 and was in love. The White 2012 with red frame and wheels was my first choice. But when I saw them all in person, then calculated the value of the DTC and DQS (traction control and electronic quickshifter) and the factory rear Ohlins...THEN add into it the unbelieveable Corse paint....I had to have one. So I traded a Brutale and rode home my favorite bike of the 8 streetbikes Ive ever owned.

I love just looking at it in my garage. The Corse paint works.

Ideally I'd love to do the CF tank with just the little red and white stripe carried from front to rear to go with the flow of the lines. I'm could just be pipe dreaming. It's all going to come down to price for the paint.

On the street, not too much. On the track, I can feel it everywhere.

It has 8 levels, plus off. At level 4, I feel it when accelerating out of corners when im leaned over...street or track.

I bet if you were to set it at about halfway, ride it that way for a while then turn it off and ride the same route the sam pace youd notice it. I LOVE the DTC.

On a brighter note...I talked to Rob/Robby whatever you guys call him today. Gonna shoot for the end of August to get the bike to him. He wants to try to sand the tank down to get that aluminum look and then do the corse colors. I'm fackin psyched! Can't wait to have this thing looking sick. Plus the oem paint is so damn soft that when you breathe on it, it scratches.

haha ya never know man. I wasn't going to buy the bike due to other financial plans so who knows how long I'll have it. BUT while I do, IT'S ON! Fender eliminator to go on this wknd if things go right. Powder coating a few things possibly before the bike goes to paint. If not then, then sooner.
