Excellent pictures as usual Rene, thanks again for coming up to shoot us! Once again the pictures prove to be a phenomenal teaching aid, I can really see what Chris Bruno was saying about how I keep my arms tucked in too much while riding, I look like I'm trying to give the tank a hug in the hopes that it will warm up to me and not spit me off the high side

yeah dude, there's one pic of you in the bowl where i could tell you were workin on that & had your elbows MUCH further out than you used to. I think this was the one I noticed.

Pete, that wasn't directed at you, you know me and that I've asked you for advice before, I have no problems with you or anyone else pointing out things that I am doing wrong so that I can learn from them.

However that isn't the case with everyone, and I don't think I would have felt comfortable having my pictures dissected my first day out there on the track, I was self conscious about my riding and just wanted to get out there and do my own thing for a while.

Kham, I am the rider on the green zx6r with a single green headlight covered in silver ductape, wearing a green suit with a green helmet. You can see a few pictures of me on page 10. My form is far from perfect but I do see improvements from past trackdays and that's what matters to me. Critique away if you like, though some might say you haven't yet earned that right...Pete on the other hand has, he's much faster than me despite less experience and a bike that's not as well set up (I have a fancy shock, sweeeet pegs, and babied track tires but I can tell you it doesn't do me a damn bit of good, some of us got it some gotta work hard for every inch)...now stop strokin yourself Petey we all know you're fast get over it

Yep, that's me earlier in the day, as you can see my elbows are tucked in too much, especially my inside elbow, and my front wheel is pointed away from the outside of the turn 4 apex, which has me driving up the hill in a sort of half-hearted turn after straightlining three rather than tight to the three apex and up into the apex of four. You can read about that here under "things I need to improve".

But seriously... quick? maybe... fast? no... one of the good things I liked about blue group is it showed me what fast really is.... another cool part was I wasn't loosin as much in the corners as i woulda thought to some of those guys on most of the other 4 strokes... most of it was just the straights & braking zones (especially cresting 5 into the bowl... i KNOW i can go deeper it's just a matter of cajones). In yellow group i wasn't able to learn much from the other riders which is the main reason why i jumped up to blue... even though i don't think i was quite as fast as last track day, it was a good decision

these pics were from earlier in Red Group before i moved into Yellow. Towards the end of the day I was hanging off a bit more, not much but enough to carry a bit more corner speed.

That is actually a really good pic. It shows that you're looking far ahead. And, as most of us already know very well, it is important to look where you want to go. Good vision, dude!!!!!!
The only thing I would want to say is turn your head just a little bit more....not that I'm perfect, just an observation. Otherwise, as I said, very good!
