Some of the times being reported for the testing session...
Supersport:
1 Parkes Yamaha YZF R6 Yamaha Motor Italia WSB 2:03.5
3 Pitt Honda CBR600RR Hannspree Ten Kate Honda 2:03.9
4 Foret Yamaha YZF R6 Yamaha Motor Italia WSB 2:04.2
5 Mc Coy Triumph 675 Triumph - SC 2:07.2
6 Paul Young Triumph 675 Triumph - SC 2:12.0
Yeah, Young is involved because he's been racing the 675 at British SS as a privateer since the start. He also was a (if not "THE") 675 test rider for Triumph during it's development.
It will be a while, but I hope Triumph keeps supporting it.
So 675 cc bikes can run up against 600 cc bikes?
How do they make that fair? Restrictor plates?
Or do they run as is semi stock?
About McCoy...
funny joke about the titanium !
That guy like the $6 million dollar man (lee majors) !
2008 Honda CBR 600RR
The 675 is a triple, so it gets a displacement break.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

Most recent results from today's testing:
I tempi (ufficiosi) Supersport
1. Parkes (Aus-Yamaha) 2:03.0;
2. Foret (Fra-Yamaha) 2:03.0;
3. Pitt (Aus-Honda) 2:03.3;
4. McCoy (Triumph) 2:05.0;
5. Young (GB-Triumph) 2:07.0.
675's are running stock engines from what the guys on the Triumph forum are saying (Is that not the rule?).
WSS bikes can run a factory race kit. The rules are more open in certain spots than say US Supersport rules.
The question is whether Triumph actually has one.

Young actually helped develop one. Just hit the market last winter if I'm not mistaken.
