I started up the 750 a few days ago and realized it is way too loud with the D&D and i attract way too much attention. I have searched on here and on Ebay with no luck of finding a used slip on. does anyone know where i could get a hold of one for relatively cheap money? and what brand will give me nice sound and performance without the noise?

I had an old ZX750 w/ a V&H 4:1 on it. Mainly becuause they're the only people that made a system for that bike, but it sounded good and was pretty damn quiet. Never got a second look unless I was really getting into it.

Have you tried repacking the silencer? That will quiet you down and is a cheaper alternative.

I had an 01 750 and I bought an M4 full system for it, at the time the full system was only $730 bucks or so from parts411.

Look around for an M4, or check out their website, not sure if a new slip on would be in your price range...but a used system or a used slip on should be cheap.

I've never had a problem of any kind with M4, I had one on my 750 and now my 1k has one as well, so 9 years of using their stuff. The 750 made a nice howling shriek of a sound, I had people ask me if I was running a turbo in the bike...had others say it sounded like a turbine engine..etc.

I had a 94 750 that came with a D&D. The 01 sounded better and was much quieter. The M4 has a straight through baffle, but the older ones are 22 inch cans. All the newer stuff is 12 inch, but I am pretty sure if you were to order a brand new slipon from M4, you'd still get the 22 inch can. You could double check with a call or email. My 1k has a 12 inch can and I figured it was going to be stupid loud, but quite honestly it's not.

Kerker definitely made me laugh.

I had a Micron pipe on my old Gixxer, and it sounded fantastic. Not terribly loud, and definitely a unique note.

No i would run straight headers before i bought a kerker...and yes Doc i am getting old...lol I like the M4 and the Acra i guess i will go with the cheapest one i find. all the ones im finding on ebay look like they got run over by a train...

My 04-750 had a d+d on it,way too loud. Put Scorpion on it now,sounds great ,good price $320 i think Cycle-gear. Other riders could not ride on the right side of the bike with the D-D,
