I found an inexpensive lap timer for your I phone or Android
I saw on some forums that they are not as accurate as a real GPS Lap timer but really close. So if you are just doing track days this would be good. But if you are racing I would probably go with a GPS Lap timer. Your choice 9 bucks or 300.. They also said that you could use it on the street. Like to trip to work to see how long it takes you..
Here is a lap timer for I phone $8.99

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle
There's also Diablo Super Biker, which is free. I've seen it used on the track, and looks very cool. It also can be used for street or track, and then you overlay it in the program onto a map. I downloaded it at my last track day. Of course, I forgot to turn it on. Yeah, I'm that good.
ETA: Just looked up a review for it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...perbiker&hl=en

What exactly is the free app called? Can't find anything even remotely called that in the app store.

I've got that trackmaster for my phone. Works pretty good. Way better than it did when I first got it. Has preloaded tracks, including nhis. I always forget to use it but when I do it works. Not really sure what to do with it after I log the data though.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Wonder if it has been removed from the app-store or some such. I don't have itunes on a PC here to follow Pete's link on. Maybe it doesn't work via itunes either?!
But yeah, basically apple sucks.
Looks like you have to go to http://itunes.apple.com/my/app/diabl...451756374?mt=8 for Iphones I was able to get to it.

Still "..request could not be completed.."
But thank you.
Apple, still sucking.
the whole app not available in your country was through googling the app, I actually looked it up in the playstore for android and it worked fine... one of the guys and I were trying to figure it out and couldn't DL it. the google link is for the wrong app
Well how about that. I searched in the play store, found what looked like the same exact page, except this time it found the US version. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...losuperbikerus

Someone with a yellow bike was using that today at the track (I think)
Just downloaded it last night. Going to give it a try today.
I used the 8.99 one at a track day. A few times it didn't run. It may have been my error. When it did work it gave me lap times and it broke the track down into 5 sections. It showed avg speed through sections and through the track and top speed. It also gives you your virtual best, adding up your best section times. Mine was 1:23.73 with my actual best at 1:28.50. That shows me I need some open track and I need to put everything together. I'd like to put it up against a legit lap timer and see how close it is.
Best way to mount the iPhone?

Been looking at one of these myself.

Worried it isn't secure enough for track use. Maybe + some zip ties?
I'd go with Maxim's idea and wrap it up & put it under the seat. The Pirelli app only gives you a blank screen to look at while it's going.
