A lot of the Boston Massacre video was taken near my neighborhood in Boston. They didn't invite me.....Quote:
apparently the local track riding forum has some "nice things" to say about the weekend

I think we need to take the bull by the horns and start our own run in honor of his arm! First, we need a name. Don't have any street cred so I need some help from the sport bike crowd.
"Campos Army"
Feel for Felix Run
Lefties R Us
Golf Clap run
I'm frustrated by the reporting of this incident. None of the reports say which arm was "medically amputated at the scene."
Classy of his buddy to keep going.
Few more details.
865 entrants in the Triathalon.
"Squidfamous 508" - fixed
I do wonder if tiered licencing and age+displacement limits would prevent a few of these morons from taking up riding.
All I see is a bunch of wannabe thugs breaking the law, and intentionally intimidating other road users and the public.
Wastes of oxygen.
I see peer pressure.
Perhaps a few more, "You are special." self esteem classes and anti- bullying sessions would have helped these little darlings make their own decisions...
I see stupid people doing stupid things on public roadways with absolutely no regard for the welfare of others.
Wave your hand in the air like you just don't care and holla yeah
At least he can still fist pump
The icon vest did its job
He's in Fall River, so Vanson can make him a custom suit, 25% off.
I'm sure the guy is suffering, and it's probably bad karma to joke about it, but as I said before there is something that has just hit me differently about this.
I've long disliked the long lines of H-D bikes in the "charity ride" format of blocking traffic at stop lights so the group can all pass through together. I've long wondered why those riders ride in vests, rarely wear helmets in non-mandatory states, run loud pipes and rev their motors at stop lights.
None of what those riders do compares to this shit. The other guys are respective of the yellow line, don't speed in heavy traffic, have some semblence of order and aren't pissing off such large arrays of different people. These guys are doing more to set us back to nannyism than anyone has in years. I never want to see someone get hurt, but if ever someone earned it.....couldn't happen to a more-deserving group. Ironic perhaps, but they're young and stupid enough that I'd bet half or more are risking the total destruction of bikes that they're still making payments on.
Sub-60º weather can't come soon enough. Like cockroaches, cold is the only thing that assures they'll go into hibernation.
I'd say easily a 80% of street only riders I have met in MA got their bikes in order to get laid or show off on fb.
Now stunt riders I wanna believe they actually do like what they do. Not sure what the meaning is behind this specific ride and honestly I have never cared if someone around wears or doesn't wear gear. That's a personal decision. I do wheelies, I go fast on the road and iv ran away from the police before. If you think I deserve to die or lose an arm I think you are crazy.
You have all been young before and done stupid shit. Nobody forces people to join these rides the sign up on their own. Injury is part of the game just like it is in racing. The difference is in track you can hurt any people who aren't part of it. You can still cause a fellow racers injury even if you don't mean it. Does it mean either one deserved it cause it was their own decision to go at the track?
I'm gonna buy this shirt "stunting the streets causing mass mayhem"

Mini rant: You know what really disgusts me. People walking their motorcycles and dabbing their feet along the ground. I see it do often with this group. Personally if I can come yia full stop and start again without my feet touching the ground I feel accomplished.

Savas. Big difference. My wife isn't driving my kids around the track while we play.
I understand that there chances are worse on the street to injure someone who wants nothing to do with whatever it is that you doing. But you know you have been through the phase of "terrorizing" public roads. Maybe you didn't organize rides or did stunts but going way above the speed limit isn't much safer.
I'm not saying what they are doing is ok neither I support it. All I'm saying I wish nothing bad upon anybody even if they are wrong. You have no sympathy for them and I get that I'm just trying to tell you that you are looking at the same coin which has two sides. I bet some of them would have no sympathy for anyone injured at the track. Just like people say oh they have no gear obviously they ll get fucked up, they are thinking oh this track idiots think a leather suit will protect them when they hit a wall at 120mph.
Going above the speed limit is safer than standing on the bike with your hands in the air on the wrong side of the road?
Granted, 70 in a residential 35 ain't the best idea in the world, but there really is no valid comparison between this and "the pace" or track days.
Racing is different that TDs. 70 in 35 sounds fast how about 140 on 50 or 180 on 65?
I think a pro racer has way higher chances of getting hurt or killed compared to a pro stunter.
A pro stunter isn't doing his business on public streets.
Every other person on the track for either a track day or race chose to be there and knowingly accepted the risks.
I would not consider the potential carnage the ace run could have caused an known risk of the cranberry triathlon or going out to get groceries.
The rider's risk may be lower, but the guy out for groceries is at no risk from a pre racer on the track or a pro stunter in an enclosed area. In this case, it was the rider who got hurt, but it could have been an innocent person just as easily.
Sorry, but defending this by saying it it safer than track racing, with all the qualification, gear, tech inspection and corner workers is just stupid.
At no point I defended their actions or said its safer than the track... I'm just saying there are two sides on every coin and they see it differently. You and I think it's stupid, they don't.
Well that's one stupid ass coin ;)

Yes. I have gone fast on the street. I save it for outside of towns. What they are doing is anti-social and criminal in many cases. It also endangers the general public The stunting however doesn't bother me as much as the no license, no insurance and in many cases stolen bike. If they injure someone there would be little to no compensation.
hmm where to start... for one GET FUCKIN LIFE 2 . clealy you dumb shits have NOTHING better to do then hide like a bitch behind a computer screen n run ya mouth like you know half of what ur talking about n i could go.on for.days but really have better things to do.then to be an internet loser like all of you..... RIP ADAM"ACE" RIVERA.
The key difference there is that all the riders on the track volunteered to accept the risk. The people on the street did not. And all risks are not equal. Some are much greater than others. And clowning around in a huge pack of bikes in day-time city the way they were is about as much risk as you can impose on unwilling drivers. It doesn't even come close to comparing to one person blasting down some backroad in the middle of the night.
HAHAHA and Savas, these are the kind of people you're trying to defend. I don't think I need to say anymore. On second thought, there's a certain irony in a guy posting with a meaningless username, not providing a name or location, talking about people hiding behind a computer screen.
Maybe I missed the story, but exactly who is Adam, and what happened to him? I think that would be a key point in any memorial/tribute ride.
I was wondering when some of these dbags would join up to prove how stupid they are. I never could have imagined the first dbag's user name would be dbag, fucking priceless.
