They break. The camera was mounted on the back of the bike and I hit a bump and one of the small extentions snapped. The case saved the camera but it deleted my videos and the case is now broken. I'll be giving them a call in the morning and post up if they help me out or not.
Go to GoPro's site and send them and email through the "contact" button. According to them they had a bad run of plastic mounts. They were brittle. They will gladly replace all of the mounts in the kit with the new stuff. GoPro customer service was great to deal with and, I had mine in my mailbox within 3 days.

Sorry to hear. I just got a gopro so I will have to keep an eye on mine. One thing I did was safety wire the housing to a part of my bike just in case something like that happened. It can't hurt to be too careful.
I'm sure they'll take care of you, Gopro is a good company!
