new Adv bikes:Vstrom650 / Honda Crossrunner

apologies in advance if reposting, here's your minute back :

    redesigned Vstrom 650:

    New Honda Crossrunner:

, it made the curious decision to use the V-4 engine out of the old VFR800, a high-speed sports touring machine. This makes the Crossrunner the only 4-cylinder bike in its class

Looks like they used more than just the VFR engine on the Honda. Frame, forks, swing arm and few other bits look straight of the VFR. Pretty cool bike.
I'd like to see them make the V-Strom in an 800.

I bet the honda will make a sweet all rounder / standard tourer but that is the ugliest bike I have seen in a while.

Sorry guys, maybe it's better in person?

It looks like they went for the hawk beak look of the multi and ended up with tweaty bird.

I really like that the Honda has a 4 cylinder motor. I have to wonder if we will see it here in the U.S.

I still do not like the idea of low pipes on "Adventure" bikes.....

    Looks like an obese KTM.

Probably won't even be sold here in the U.S.

The Honda looks like less of an adventure bike than my hyper.

    Obese ktm? How dare you?!

Yeah, the 990/950 adv's aren't too pretty either, but they are the real deal when it comes to doing absolutely everything. And dont even get me started on those hideous spy vs spy supermoto thingys they made for a couple years...blech!!
