Did you get a look at the rig he was riding?? That thing looked like it had the low speed agility of a dump truck. Fat tires front and rear, and steering geometry that might make even a hard core chopper wince. No damn wonder he wadded it. I'd bet "Steve Mcqueen" wouldn't have thrown a leg over it.
Oh, if I remember correctly, Steve didn't do the famous jump, Bud Ekins did. They were rdidng buddies though.
