Pressure on right foot peg makes bike lean right and body moves slightly to the left resulting in the bike heading to the right even though he looks and feels like he is leaning hard to the left.

He's not putting pressure on his right foot.... Trust me. It's either alignment or the crown in the road, me thinks.

That may play a part in it... I'll tell him to sling it down the other pant leg.

Why all the hate for powering up a wheelie? I have a friend who can power them up with ease. I know for a fact that Pete saw my friend power one up a few years back up in Vermont. All I do is get the RPMs right, snap the throttle, and back off as the wheel comes up.

no hate from me... just more controlled/consistent clutching it up... little trickier with the throttle control to power it up.

Did your friend ever wheelie on his old 600?

So the 600 wouldn't lean while in a wheelie or is there not enough data to say for sure?

turning the front wheel absolutely does matter. If its turned like in the picture the bike will drift right. Its a giant gyro. Remember the holding the spinning wheel experiment?

My friend disagrees... I have been told it is easier to power em up on twins. Someone has to teach me... I mean my friend how to clutch them up.

Although I... I mean my friend has no problems holding a wheelie straight. He must have a small package.

I've got no problem w/ wheelies but there's a time & a place... and in my opinion, on the highway passing cars in the next lane over ain't it.

All it takes is one untimely lane change like what almost happened in that video, or a bad wobble to ruin everyone's day. Fuck that.
