I finally narrowed it down to Yoshimura......just don't know if I should go with the RS-3 Race or RS-3 Zyclone. Does anyone have anything to say about Yoshimura exhausts? Good or Bad?
I like Yoshimura I think they have a good sound to them. My Ninja had one on it when I bought it, but it was all scratched up. Now it has a Vance & Hines.![]()
They're nice but not my cup o tea (I like a little deeper louder sound).. but if ya need help putting it on let me know
I believe the Cyclone is much more baffled. I have the 'race cans' on my Tiller, and it's loud as hell. Sounds fargin' great though...![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
stoneman's pipes are so loud that i couldn't hear my own bike when i was behind him.
'course, the stock SV cans are pretty quiet.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
Both are good but with the race can you will more than likely get unwanted attention from the local Leo's for the loud can.![]()
You will also have to do a stage 3 jet with the race system.![]()

That wasn't Jays can's....That was his can!
Really though, the difference is in the baffle. Most Zyclones have a 1 7/8 baffle, while the RS-3's have a 2-2 1/4 depending on application. The difference is about 2hp. Really consider a Micron on a Honda. I have run them on all my honda's including 2 turbo'd 900rr's and they are great. Plus you don't have to pay the extra to have that Yosh nameplate on your can.....
Over.
I was thinking of the Zyclone myself. I did some price shopping on the web, let me know if you want a Excel sheet of costs by suppliers.
email me at m75131@hotmail.com
Or if you already know of an inexpensive place to get it, let me know.
Go with the race. I have it on my GSX-R and it sounds great. It really isn't loud. I haven't had any problems in terms of noise with it. Personally I think it is softer than my stock b/c of the fact that it is deeper.
