Alright, so I like this:



Moto GP Corkscrew Leather Jacket


Durable, cowhide leather with perforated panels
CE-approved protection for shoulders and elbows
EVA foam back pad
360 Jacket-to-pant zipper attachment system
Race fit, tapered body and pre-curved sleeves
Easy zip-out, insulated vest
Reflective piping on front and sleeves
YKK zippers
Zippered cuffs with hook-and-loop waits tabs
2zippered waist pockets
Large interior patch pocket
Interior vertical zippered chest pocket
Stretch panel under arms for increased mobility


I am even pretty close to caving in and shelling out the $350 or it.



I am looking for a Jacket with a full circumference zipper to zip into pants, armor, a lota perferation, and it has to be leather. I want a jacket and pants that would work for any trackday down the line and that I can definatly wear as a jaket alone so it can't be too short.

My question is:
-Is MotoGP a good, trustable brand that will last down the road? I can't be buying jackets every year or every other at that.
-What would your guess be for the life of this jacket, with the owner who takes care of everything?
-Am I spending too much? Can I get an equally as good/better jacket for less?
-Am I not spending enough? Should I be spending a little more for a way better jacket?
-The MotoGP Apex jacket has the Apex pants, I have not been able to find any Corkscrew pants, the Apex pants will work with the Corkscrew, right?
-Any other bands out there that I may be overlooking?

JR blaster peforated is one I can think of that offers the same as what you are looking for....

My A* TZ-1 jacket is pretty much identical to the "specs" on that jacket, but its got TWO pockets in the zip-out liner, not one.

i am 99% sure the apex pants will work with the corckscrew jacket. we're supposed to be getting the corckscrew jackets in the shop this week so i can check it out and let you know for sure.

I have not been able to find the Perf'ed verson of the TZ-1 or even the TX-1.

What is the material like from the armpit, down the inner arm, and to the cuff?
