So just pondering this. For years I have used lexol conditioner with good results but I recall vanson washes leathers in a machine then uses hand lotion but not stuff with lanolin (or some similar stipulation)
Anyone know this?
I forget who, but someone JUST mentioned this to me at the last race weekend, saying that regular plain old hand lotion is perfectly good at being used as leather conditioner. However I thought they said the key was something WITH lanolin.
Def worth looking into, because I should take better care of my leathers and they could probably use some conditioning... Glad you brought this up & reminded me of it.

That technique comes highly recommended.

What is Mink Oil ?
Mink oil is a source of palmitoleic acid, which possesses physical properties similar to human sebum. Because of this, mink oil is used in several medical and cosmetic products. Mink oil is also used for treating, conditioning and preserving nearly all kinds of leather.

Adouglas this is for race leathers not captive fat girls. But this does show another use of lotion in a basket......
And Pete yes I think it is WITH lanolin. Not sure about paba or aloe.
Is this so the leather doesn't dry up/crack?
With the new baby in the house. the wife has been using lanolin for for boobies. your saying i can slap this into my leathers?
