Well I finally gone and done it!
I sold my TLR today, 1 hour later I had a deposit on a new ride that I've been working the price on for the last month or so.
I pick it up next Tuesday, a 2006 Solar Yellow Kawasaki ZX10R!!!
This thing is definitely going to be light and scary fast for me, especially coming off a TLR.

You're gonna miss the twin.........
But you picked something fun to replace it with. Rode one when they first came out in Daytona and it was silly.
Enjoy the new toy.

I think that 10R will run circles around your old ride, especially out at Louden !
The handling will be much sharper.
Good move, man !
congrats on the new bike!![]()

Thanks Akira,
I think it will be sharper than the TLR, no doubt. Loudon is really tight, so I don't think the monstrous power will be as big of a factor at getting me around the circuit quicker at my level.
The power will be fun, but heck, I know I'm gonna be scared of the thing for a while.

yea what everyone say. nice! but that is slow color.![]()
"fuckit!"
I mean what is the weight difference between the bikes? That alone is worth the price of admission!
Not to insult any TLR fans here but that TLR is no light weight !
And besides don't Inline 4's rule?![]()
I4's rule the tracks currently yes. And yes, the weight difference is HUGE!
If they come out with light weight 1200+cc V-wtin superbikes in the next year or two, I'll be kicking myself for buying this ZX10R hehe.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

First suggested mod, get rid of exhaust heat shields....![]()
I have an undertail setup coming, a Zero gravity sport-tour windshield(I never liked the look of double bubbles).
Still trying to find online a factory service manual. local dealerships say they don't even have them yet.![]()
heat shields are staying.![]()
