Just curious, why is Kerker always picked on on this forum? Are they junk or something?
I don't own a Kerker and have no plans to buy one (or any other muffler) but it seems to me one loud muffler is the same as any other, loud.

I have a kerker. That being said, I got it specifically because it's NOT particularly loud. and it cost me like $150 (on clearance) rater than the like $600 suzuki wants for a stock pipe. Upon inspection of both, the kerker if much higher quality than the stock stamped steel rust-tastic piece of shit anyway. I'm really not sure how kerker got such a rep around here...

Nope, your right, it's an inside joke. Jay can tell it better, somone claiming to add 100 hp because he had a Kerker~ something like that.
The only thing I have against them is they charge like 1200 just for a Ti, scorched slip-on.
Hmmm, maybe it does add 100hp, top end only of course.

IMO the Kerkers sold today aren't too bad, but the quality and sound of the ones produced years back were total crap. Also, for whatever reason, seemingly every yahoo who owned a Ninja (the bike, not the oriental warrior) had a Kerker on their bike. Thus the endless jokes about Ninja's and Kerkers will proably be around for quite a while to come...
