I know probably not many of you here know of him, but one of the best motorcycle journalists out there has tragically been killed at the BMW press launch currently ongoing in south africa for the new water cooled BMW R1200GS.
Kevin was an excellent journalist - and really nice guy, he assisted me with issues I had with VOSA when I imported my Ducati to the UK.

Holy crap. Kevin Ash had become pretty well known in recent years as one of the few moto journalists to honestly tell the reader what he thought of bikes instead of putting out a relatively canned PR piece. Very sorry to hear he was killed. I wonder what caused the accident.
