OK.. I can draw this up... BUT... you can get reverse electrical function of the switch that has the physical characteristics you want (spring loaded plunger resting @ "in"). Check my work, im a mech e.

You would have 12 V wired up to one lead of the kickstand switch, the other lead going to a 4- prong NC-ST relay (input).

The other 3 prongs on the Relay would be as follows:

1 lead - goes to 10K resistor and 1F capacitor (in parallel), then to ground. (resistor to reduce voltage, capacitor to help bleed bleed current/voltage slowly to prevent shorts.

other 2 leads - in series in the circuit you want to open/close (reverse function to the switch).

But is that spring loaded to have the piston out or in?

We want the piston normally "in" and tension required to pull it out.
I am sure Cole Hersey makes a sw. that you need, they make one for everything else. I use to get them out of a McMaster Carr catalog, but I think you need an account to order from them.
I use to modify vehicles for handicap people, so custom electrics were involved quite a bit. McMaster always had what I needed and were quick to ship.

That looks like it would work to me. I may try that if I can't find one that is built the way I want.

A COTS setup is preferable though.
