Yeah, I AM SOOOOOO GLAD they are helping ya know the biker image. Its biker lyfe mayne!"That was fun. That was good," said another rider. "Keep it up. Sometimes we've got to do stuff like that so we can get recognized."![]()
A month ago I rode through Dorchester. While sitting at a light with my GF we witnessed about 10 riders on dirt bikes, scooters and ATVs go through an intersection, most of them on the back wheel. None had plates. No doubt they were most likely stolen.
The guy on the 50cc scooter had the most impressive wheelie, riding it between 11 and 12 o'clock

I think most of these thugz should park under a steam roller, but I cannot agree with the blatant seizing of personal property using BS tactics. For fire safety? What is keeping them from raiding homes to take dangerous explosives like bullets?? And I didn't see any lawnmowers on that truck that I am sure people park next to their homes. Slippery slope....
I gotta agree, due process is called for. Very slippery ground to be seizing.
That said, perhaps the coppers checked some VIN's and found bikes of "questionable heritage"? My first reaction when I saw the broadcasts about the crap in the tunnels was "how many of those vehicles were legitimately purchased?" Few, I'd be willing to wager.

No, probably not. I'll keep my bikes away from the side of my house just in case.

I may have to confiscate your snow blower should it get too close though. I'm watching....
What does this mean for other fire hazards near houses such as, oh dunno, the city propane feeds?
When the city propane feeds start doin mad whelliez and stunts through the city, I imagine the cops will steal those to
Now all those guys have to go out and steal new rides.

Riding today up in the Laconia area after an awesome time out and about with the wife. On the way back to our camp a trailer passed us in the other direction and threw off a ratchet strap. The strap caught me in the chest, neck and the face but thanks to being geared up, the only damage was a gouge in the paint on the helmet and a scratch on the drop-down sun visor. I know that gear threads are nothing new here but just needed to post that without mine, I would most likely have been down and had a lot of damage that wasn't easily fixed

I know there have been a lot of gear threads over the years but today I had an open trailer toss a ratchet strap while passing me. The strap bounced off my chest, chin and visor. If not for the gear, I would most likely have gone down from the impact. Not preaching....just thankful I was wearing gear that protected me.

Another Tip From Concerned Community Member Leads BPD to Locate And Impound Several Dirt Bikes in Dorchester β bpdnews.com
Once those chowderheads pulled the stunt in the tunnel the city went to war on them. NECN recycled some of the BPDNews aerticles. The first big bust was bunch of bikes stored in a housing poject, where it was clearly illegal. At this bust they also picked up 3-4 V8 drivetrains.
