My opinion of Jim just went up ten fold, it's good to know there are good guys out there.
Rock on Jim.
Ugh, this trying to please people with being funny is a lot of fucking work.
Im about to announce my retirement from being the "funny guy" and go back to my natural role as the "creepy guy"

These alpinestars were made for kickin'......:teehee:
Dave...I forgive you, we had just met, so whatever. But the other two dudes you were riding with both had my cell #, and I've either hung out with them before, or ridden with them (multiple times). It would have been a matter of a one second phone call...wouldn't have even taken the effort of going back to look for me...
And Ritchie...this is the only time you'll hear this from me(or maybe from a girl in general?)...but....I genuinely appreciate the offer!
Shite Lauren that suxx. Well It sounds like you've pretty much got everything sorted out for now but if you need help with the bike let me know, I'm not much for electrical but if its anything else I've torn down my old fzr once or twice.
mannnnnnnn lauren if i stuck around i woulda called u but it was passed my bed timeeee anddd went home b4 these shanagins boooooooo
sorry that happen to u
Good man Jimbo!
Riders, that was plain Douche Baggery.
Allright...so I thought that I'd buried the hatchet...BUT, my non-confrontational Libra self is taking off the 'effing gloves now... the two (Dave, you're excused for apologizing) remaining culprits both sent me text messages wanting to ride, hang out, etc. And when told that it was lame that they ditched me...continue to justify their actions. Because, they waited for me for a WHOLE 5 minutes...and came to the joint conclusion that I had headed home. Oh, ok, that makes sense...NO IT DOESN'T.
Holy crap, I am furious... and, I was told to cut the BS...because, what they did, was ok, and understandable... :madfrown:
Wow... I am never riding with Corey (Hondarider102) in Boylston or Kenny (Kenn600RR) in Everett again for sure.
My favorite quote is "just because I didn't do what you wanted me to doesn't mean I'm wrong"
Oh shoot...did I post that in the thread? :teehee:
I'm going out drinking now. Grrrowl....
This is why I race. You leave someone behind, you're celebrated.
:mope:
Weak...

Girls ride bikes?
i think they should go back and read the general rule about riding in a group.
the purpose for waiting for someone means????
a: to wait 5 min to see if they went home
b: to reform the group
c: to make sure they didnt get in an accident
d: to make sure they didnt FN break down in the middle of nowhere!
e: b c & d
Its common sense ... This happened to me on a ride... wife was following .. i turned it up a notch through some turns and then slowed down to wait ... it took me 15 seconds to realize something was wrong.. i went back and low and behold a car pulled out in front of her ... she stopped in time and just fell over .. but all i see was her in the road and a bunch of people ...
you guys are lucky nothing happened to her and it has nothing to do with being a girl its any rider .. although it does sound worse knowing u left a female stranded out there...
i think its just inexperience here because i have met Corey and I think he is a good guy. and im sure the other 2 are good guys as well just a shitty mistake that should never happen again ... my .02
I was there. But we didn't "Ditch" you. When we were at that light near south station about to make a left.. you can make a hard left to head into 93 or go up a bit past some building and make a left to put you right in front of south station. Right in front of the Fed building we realized that you weren't there and we stopped.. And waited. And we made the decisions to go because we thought that you had jumped onto 93 and headed home. Mainly because that's what everyone else in our group had started to do. People were going home. So, I'm not apologizing or entertaining the idea that I or anyone else in that little group did anything wrong. It sucks that your bike broke and had I know or any of us had known that your ride broke. we would have stayed and helped you figure out what to do with it. But in the moment we all made the decision to go thinking that you had headed home. And in my own defense. when I got back to my place in everett. I sent you a text wondering what the hell had happened to you. That's when I found out that your bike was dead and that you were waiting for a tow truck. At no time did you ever say that you wanted help / company. It was after 12:30 by that time. I wake up for work at 5 am and I'm sorry but staying out till 3 am and then working all day is no fun. I would have done it if the situation called for it or if you would have asked but at no point was I going to volunteer to stay up and hang out in south boston waiting for a tow truck. I'm not a mind reader. You really need to ask me for what you want or need.
You can be upset all you want but I don't see this as any more than a misunderstanding and you taking it way to personal.
I know how if feels to have your shit break on you and how awesome it is to have other riders help you. Shit.. back in 06' , after only having my very first bike for only a few hundred miles, I crashed that bad boy into a salt marsh and fucked up my shoulder. The group ( people I had just met that day) stopped the ride, pulled my bike out of the mud, rode over an hour away to get a truck and towed my bike and dropped it off at my house. All the while, I was at the ER getting my shoulder relocated. So, I know about helping someone out because I have definitely seen the best that people can offer.
I think you trying to make the 3 of us look like assholes and ruin what ever good rep we have or are building here is not cool.
Do you have any idea how ignorant you just made yourself sound?
you guys are lucky nothing happened to her and it has nothing to do with being a girl its any rider .. although it does sound worse knowing u left a female stranded out there...

It does seem worse because it was a girl. How are we lucky? Since when though, can someone be held accountable for someone else's actions though? True, if she would have gotten mugged out there, I would definitely feel bad about it and Im sure cory would too. But would it be our fault. Absolutely not.
This is ridiculous and I'm not apologizing for shit.
I'll ride by my damn self from now on.
ok so i was another rider that was involved in this. I haven't been home all day, or had access to a computer, and did not even know this post happened until about 3 hours ago when i texted Lauren about a ride tomorrow. So here's the full story just so everyone knows. Me, Dan, Kenny, Ralph, Ashley, Jackie and one of Ashley's friends headed to Amanda's pizza i believe was the name of the place. When we got there me and Dan ate and everyone else just grabbed a drink, Ashley's friend headed home by himself because he had work at 6 this morning, Jackie and Ashley went there own way, Ralph rode with us for a while then went his own way, so it was down to me, Dan, Kenny and Lauren. So i have no clue where we were but from what i understand we were near 93, somewhere in Boston, i really don't personally know the city that well. We took a left on to some street, i believe it was a one way street, but as i said i don't know Boston. Anyway we went through one or 2 green lights, probably about a half mile or mile total from the turn and realized Lauren was not with is, we pulled over and waited a good 5 minutes anyway and thought she had turned off to go home, seeing how there was no destination for the ride, we were just cruising around Boston checking out the city life and whatnot. Anyway my phone was dead, i did not know that her and Kenny had exchanged numbers prior to this event, so after 5 minutes of waiting we assumed she had headed home like most of the pack had been doing all night.
Anyway i am sorry for leaving you, by no means did i ditch you. If i had known you broke down i would have went all the way back to Lancaster grabbed my truck and went all the way back to the city to bring your bike home. I'm not the 18 year old you all take me for. Yes i like to wheelie, no there not perfect, they take practice, but i dont see how whipping a wheelie has anything to do with what happened. As jackie and steve should both know i will pretty much help anyone if possible, seeing how i towed both there bikes when they broke down. and as far as picking up girls, how do you do that when your doing 30 mph? i mean it would be kinda hard i would think.
Im not gonna keep this going on forever, i am sorry for what happened, sorry i didn;t post earlier, i left my house at 8 this morning and have been helping my cousin move all day, just got home about a half hour ago.
and yes Lauren your right, we should have circled back around, but with the way everyone was splitting off and heading in different directions it made sense that you may have headed home.
