I had the wheel off my KTM LC4 640 SM, and I noticed when compressing the left side fork, it sounded different than the right side fork. I took them both off the bike and the right side for definitely has a distinct rattle to it. Its overall length is longer when decompressed, and it seems like it springs back much faster than the left side fork as in it's underdamped.
I have no idea why it's doing this. Could it be low on fork oil, or could it be missing a spacer, or something along those lines?
Cliffs will service it with oem stuff for less than most anybody, except yourself.

Any chance one fork is compression and one is rebound?
OK... i didn't think so, but figured I would throw it out there.
