Yea, the racing at Laguna has historically been pretty boring.... I understand their decision. They could surely find another course in the U.S. with more character...

I was shocked by this. I figured they'd close Indy down. Especially after all the talk I heard down there this year. I'm glad they closed LSeca over Indy - at least there is a west coast and east coast race still.
Besides -- LSeca isn't the most entertaining track

I wonder what the attendance figures are for Laguna and Indy? I am guessing higher at Laguna....? Makes no sense to me, ones a real track, the other, well!

Apparently the decision came down to infrastructure and apparently Indy has a much better infrastructure to be able to handle GP, Moto 2 and Moto 3 whereas Laguna doesnt have enough room for 2 & 3. Im really disappointed because I love watching the racing at Laguna but with Brazil coming on the calendar and having to compete with the attendance numbers of other tracks it seems like a smart move just sad to see it go.
