So I've come to the conclusion that I'm done riding for the winter and I need to rotate my ski stuff to the "ready" closet and my bike clothes to the "not-ready" closet...anyone got tips on leather care products that I should be applying before I put 'em away?
(Yes, I still need to remove the bugs from some of them, but I figure I should be able to do that with a damp cloth.)
I've been using meguiars leather wipes on my leathers. They still look (almost) as good as the day I bought them.
I only wipe them down every few months. They don't seem to need a cleaning much more than that.
I tried the Dainese care stuff for the first time this winter, and the jury is still out (so far, so good)... the leathers look good, but i dont know what the long term effectiveness will be

I got a tub of some Red Wing leather dressing that's made of pine pitch, mink oil, and beeswax. It's awesome stuff -- the leather sucks it in and feels much more supple afterward. It moisturizes and also helps to waterproof the leather. It's basically the same stuff as this:
