I'm looking to get my first set of leathers, and I really can't afford to get anything really pricey. Before anyone says "What's your safety worth?" I know, I know. If I had $1k to drop on a suit I'd do it in a heartbeat.
I've stumbled across this EBay seller a few times, and I've read a few positive reviews on various forums (from Google Searches):
eBay Store - Leather Paradise: Motorcycle Race Suits, Leather Motorcycle Jackets, Riding Pants And Chaps
For under $400 bucks you can have them put together a custom 1 or 2 piece suit for your exact measurements. CE Armor, thick leather, dual stitching, etc etc. It sure beats buying a AGV suit in a size that probably won't fit me perfectly.
It seems like a great deal for a street/occasional track suit. If anyone knows anything (good or bad) about them please let me know.
Thanks all,

how about another option where you can go and buy a good quality name brand used suit for just slightly more money. Moto Market in acton had some MotoGP leathers for sale last time I was there that they used as rentals. Looked pretty much brand new and I think they were only asking like $500-$550.

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
full custom suit for under 400 bucks? I'm a cheap bastid & even i'm questioning the quality of that. I'd pass.
If you wanna get a good suit & save money, look for something used. There's a ton of good deals out there. Look at the WERA & CCS racing boards.

Yeah, I've been scanning the WERA boards for a bit, but I'm never sure what's going to fit me. My only real concern is buying a used suit that ends up not fitting well and having to try and return it to the buyer, or re-sell it. I suppose it's not a huge deal.
I guess I should just save up a bit longer and shoot for a name brand, thanks all.
I have a hook up at Vanson, PM me about it.
