Can anyone recommend a local custom bike painter? Looking for something in the wild '60s-'70s custom chopper department for a build I've got. Bonus points if they can do pin-striping and/or airbrushing because the frame is powder coated already and I'd like to keep the roller together (so get the tins painted, and the frame striped/brushed while the rest of the bike is together).
Somewhere in the Providence - Worcester - Portland triangle would be great.
Alternatively, I'd be down to send my tins somewhere for paint and then find someone local to do the frame, but that seems like a worse idea.
Peach Pit Motorcycle Painting, Robbie Nigl.
Looks like he doesn’t have a website anymore, but is on Facebook and Instagram. He’s the best around.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Barnstorm cycles in spencer had a custom painter they worked with that was good. I havent been in years so i cant really say if he is still there or what the deal it now.
Nova Cycles also works with a few custom painters.
There is that Landric? hack that was working out of southbridge a few years ago i see has now opened up yet another new paint shop in the area. Best to avoid him. I do believe his old reputation of being great will lead you to him eventually so be aware.
I had Landric do a Kawi tank 5+ years ago. It got done for the agreed upon price, and was done well. It was delivered a lot later than originally committed, but it got done. I wouldn’t use him again….just kind of shady.

Yeah Barnstorm probably has some contacts, as does Nova. I can probably do some digging on the socials and figure out who both are using...good call.
Definitely appreciate the call out on avoiding Landric. The bad names are just as important as the good ones!
