Geez, what's up with these turkeys?
I call them friday to ask when I can come down on saturday and get my bike inspected. 'After 9'. 'Got stickers'? 'Sure, come on down'.
So I go there saturday around 1:30-1:45 and the manager Al, sees me with the Strom and says 'what do you want Inspection?' 'Yep.'
He goes inside and comes back out and says 'In a minute.'
Fine no problem.
I wait a few minutes and finally shut the bike off and after a couple of more minutes, the owner comes out and asks me What do I want?
I repeat' Inspection. He asks me where did I buy the bike, why didn't they give me an inspection sticker.
So I tell him(cuz I figure maybe he doesn't know this) that they don't hand out Ma stickers in NH.
Now I'm starting to think, don't f*^&#ing tell me these turkeys are not going to give me a sticker cuz I bought the bike out of state?
Are they really that juvenile? Yah, really good way to keep the bucks flowing boys! How do these morons stay in business treating customers like this?
So the owner says, 'Uh, we haven't gotten our stickers in from the state yet, so it's a moot point.
At this point I'm starting to boil, so instead of calling this nitwit out, and getting myself in trouble, I just get on my bike and ride back home.
I know he's lying, cuz my wife called them up and asked them if she can bring in her bike to have it inspected and made sure to ask them if they had all the paperwork including stickers. 'Yeah no problem, we got them.'
And my friend Guy, also called them yesterday and was told, yeah plenty of stickers! WTF!
Any lawyers on board here?
Can they really get away with this crap?
I called every Suzuki dealer in the state, and they ALL have their stickers already.
Now either Sky really are the lamest bunch of mofo's in the state, if not the region, or they're just a bunch of ignorant juvenile sales wheenies who never made it out of junior high.
I bought my FZ1 from them, I've had it serviced there,(just the initial 600 mile, no need after that) and I've bought plenty of parts from them in the last 3 years, and now this? WTF!
So, they have lost another customer, and they will lose more customers I'm sure.
It continues to amaze me how many dumb ass morons own and manage bike shops out there.
They're being assholes. Call them and tell them what happened, and that folks on this forum will be certain NOT to shop there if they keep up the attitude.
No real legal remedy, though.

I don't think the government agency that regulates this legal matter would approve of such a manipulation of the system. You should do two things. Contact the state, and contact the better business buerro. But first call them, get the guy you talked to on the phone and in a calm mannor, inform him what you're doing and why.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

it's bureau you IDIOT!!!!Not in new hampshire it's not. His name is Mr. Bojangles and he's also the police commissioner. We figured he was perfect for the job.
He started off with such an intelligent sentence and I was like 'wow, he's acting smart so I need to give him shit for that one'...then I got to "buerro" and everything went out the window....Originally posted by bigred875

I'm disappointed to learn of all the animosity towards them. I've never been there, but I always held it close to my heart that they were a good company. I mean, they have such a catchy little jingle, it gets in my head and I'm humming it all day. "Skyyyyyyy Cy-Cle!". Genius.
wasn't TLRman giving the service manager there a virtual BJ on here? Or was that another shop....they have changed blah blah....they care blah blah blah?Originally posted by cyberxen

Go to Powerhouse Performance at 214 Lunenburg St. in Fitchburg. They inspect bikes and are great people to deal with.
Superdave can vouch for them, nice guys. Just don't get them started with the race stories or you'll end up spending all day there![]()

I agree with everyone else.
Allen the sales manager is a fuckin' ASS Hole!!
I will never set foot in there ever again.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Sky Cycle.
Too many toys, not enough time.
And to think they USED to treat me really well. Once they re-did the place they brought prices WAY up.
I walked in there with a checkbook a couple years ago. I was ready to walk out with a brand new SV650. They wouldn't budge on MSRP or the ass-rape of a prep-fee or first service price.

Throw something up on the dealer/vendor page. I know i look up stuff on there as needed. I sure as hell dont want to give any business to someplace that treats potential customers in this way.
I have personally put a post up about Dunbar Euro Sports and how they can suck my ass! And with the amount of views it got I hope it hurt those fuckers, even just a little bit.

Contact the state. It is illegal for any inspection station to refuse someone an inspection. Last year, 2 garages in Berkshire county were denying some people inspections. A few people complained and the owners got their asses handed to them by the RMV. For several months, they were not allowed to make any money on inspections. Needless to say, they straightened their shit out quickly.
Skyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-----eyeeeeeeeeeeee-----cycle! My god are they terrible. I occasionally go in there to harass them. I ask them for pricing on some bikes and when they come back with full MSRP, I tell them how much cheaper I can get stuff from another local dealer and then ask them why I should spend so much more to get a bike from them. They get quite pissed but so long as I have a good time, thats all that matters.
Oh yeah, they quoted me a pre-assembly price $1800 more expensive then what I ended up paying on my 12R out the door from another dealer. I said you will have to do better than that but they wouldn't budge.
