im just not comfortable dropping the bike off to dealer for a day. it wasn't too much trouble to bring 2 wheels to them anyway.
the rear would cost $70 to mount and balance on the bike and $20 off the bike. it's kind of fun to take the wheels off.

I'm hoping you meant to say, "socket"? I believe it's a 32mm. Try Home Depot -- get a good one. And when you use it, put a piece of thin fabric or something over the nut first if you want to keep it looking new.

Some bike shops have those in stock, or items similar. I've had the OE-spec tools not be a precise fit.
