My left fork seal is gone. I just got a quote from intense motorsport that they would fix it for 225.00 Is this price reasonable, or am I better of attempting to replace it myself.
You could probably do it for 25 bucks yourself, for the pair.

USD's are a little trickier to work with. That high quote is probably from labor. Pull the forks out of the triples and take 'em somewhere.

If thats for one fork that seems kinda high. I would probably get both done. I've done forks on my old bike, replaced the dust and oil seals along with the bushings. You will need some sort of a fork seal driver tool to do this, I used a piece of PVC piping and cut it in half length wise to do so.
If your not comfortable doing this yourself i'd shop around for a price to get both done
That dose seem like a kinda high price.....But like Rye said take the forks off your self and bring em to another shop. I was goona do that and got a price of $120 from local dealer to do it.
I could wait the 2 week back log they had, so I did em my self. It cost me $20 a side for new seals, dust boot and top cap O-ring (which should be replaced) bout $5 for oil.
It was a great learning experience and not that had. As I also used a piece of PVC pipe for driving in the new seals.
As mentioned above DO BOTH sides, rather the doing just the side that leaking now, as youd be kicking your self in the ass when in month ther other one leaks and you have to take it all apart.
Just my opinion
