Looking for a Motorcycle mechanic near Bolton, ma to take a look at my front end/brakes. (which is near the area of where Rt 2 meets 495 in Central Ma.)
On the way home from my friends the other day I noticed there was a sound comming from my front end like a rotor is slightly warped. I don't have a stand so I can't even check if that is the issue for sure.
Not sure, it could need new brakes too?? I have an 05 Honda 600rr with 5400 miles on it.
ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I haven't heard good things about Central Mass Powersports which is prob the closest dealer to you.........I've got a stand if you want to check it out yourself.
I have heard the same thing about Central Mass which is why I posted here to see where everyone else brings their bikes.
There is also Red Streak MotorSports which i have also heard crappy things about?? Are there any reputable motorbike mechanics out there?
I am mechanically inclined but I've never done anything but cosmetic stuff on bikes and I’m iffy about trying anything on my front brakes without someone there who know's there shit? I am planning on going to see Tricky Mike to get some new tires on which are being delivered today. I PM him a few mins ago to see if he does any work other that tires??

Wilmington huh? I grew up there. You work out that way?
I bought 2 of the Harbor Frieght stands this weekend but got the wrong front stand and i am still waiting for the spools for the swingarm in the back. When I get the right stand later the week i'm going to see if I can at least see where the sound is comming from?
On Mechanic st in Leominster there is a place called Mike's, that while I don't have experience with him - he is still there and running a buisness on repairing bikes, no sales etc. so he has to be decent to some degree:

I spoke with him last year about a couple things and he seemed knowledgeable, but I do most of my own work on the bike.
There is an Enterprise rental car place in the front and the building Mikes is in is behind that.

Tell me about it. I use to work landscaping in Tewksbury for 3 years and drove back up that way from Bolton everyday. It was only about 40 mins for me because I'm right by the highway though. Now I 'm 10 mins down the rode on Simarano Drive in Marlboro at HP.
I checked out Mike's Site that SSG gave me and it looks promising!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
if you don't have any luck, I'm about 20 minutes away in Northbridge. We can put your bike on my jack, take a look and if you need them, I'll show you how do your brakes.
Just as a disclaimer, I do not do this professionally, I'm just a guy that's has some tools and is too cheap to pay people to do things.
currently just an oldman bike, but searching for my new ride
.Sold to a guy in Mississippisearching for a new ride.
Ahhhhh sooo... this is how you multi-quote!
That is definitely great news since I have contacted the one they call Tricky Mike already about putting my new tires on and I sent him a message today to let him know my tires had arrived and my issue with the sound coming from the front end. I'm sure I will hear from him soon.
Joe, thanks for he offer! I really appreciate it and I will keep it in mind.
There are so many nice and crafty people on here! So glad I joined... this place rocks!![]()
