The Cape is a crazy place in the summer.

Was it a tourist or local?, what town and route or road.

I was a summer dink down there from 83 to 98 riding a bike every summer.

Worst I ever got was a head on ( thier fault) my 1st summer on the street.

Then no other incidents for 22 years.

Lesson learned...The EXACT same f'n thing happened to me, except I didn't hit the retard in the bronco / blazer. He had his right blinker on, and there was a road on the right. he looks as if he's making the right onto the other road, then rips the wheel left and pulls a u-turn. I was about to go around him on the right, infact I was about along side of him when I realized what he was doing and braked. he looked over at me as he was making the turn, without a care in the world. Quite honestly he looked like he was about 14.

More luck, the officer rides a zx10 go figure. He helped me out big time in the police report made everything clear how much of an idiot the guy was.

glad you're ok man, i can't say anything somebody else hasn't already. however, similar thing happened to me last fall, a barn close to the road creates a blind corner as i'm exiting RT 7 a few miles north of middlebury, slowing from 50-55 down to about 40-45 when i see a car doing a u-turn in the road, and no place to go. i hit her at quite an angle, so I bounced, rolled and got up, no damage to me, minor damage to the bike, and damn how i wish there had been more damage to that car... (popped off the side molding, and minor small dent). middle-aged californian woman driving a rental from mass. turning around and away from the town she was looking for... dumb b****! and a guy i know at work just flipped last week on the way to work when somebody stopped quick in front of him... somehow NEVER hit the truck in front of him! and he's fine, just a little banged up. heal up quick dude, and never trust directionals! -ty

hope u heal up quickly. Just this past week I have seen 1 car and 1 delivery van turn their blinker/directional on and go in the complete opposite direction. As soon as I see a turn signal I stay back until I see where they're going. Seems like some driver's signal and turn coordination is a little f-ed up around here.

More horrible news, a guy name CJ was killed 3 nights ago. he was 22 lived in south dennis. It happened in Hyannis on south street. speed and traffic was a factor.
R.I.P. CJ he was a good kid.


Another lesson learned from all this. Stay off the cape to ride during the summer.

Actually bro I didn't do a wheelie i took off at the set of lights fast yes but only took off in first gear then shifted to second and let off I was going 34-39mph on a 35mph road the stupid lady pulled out in front of me and I tried to stop my back end started to slide so I also hit my front brakes and did an endo and so the guy behind me said I was doing a wheelie which wasn't the case so before you go on what the news says maybe ask the person because the news seems to get things wrong all the time! Don't be a piece of shit person, I almost died because of that idiot that tried to beat the traffic.
