Does anyone have recommendations on simple front/rear blinkers which are considered legal in MA? I've had nothing but trouble with the flush-mounted so want to mount some off my license plate bracket and change up the front ones to face forward.
Search DOT blinkers on ebay.

Call your local shop who does bike stickers. they can give you exact rules.
If your looking for aftermarket..i would just go back to oem..so much less hassle.

There aren't too many aftermarket signals that have DOT stamps on them. I have always used LP short stalk signals and haven't had any issues in passing inspection. Just make sure they follow the minimum with between and you should be OK.
16" minimum from the center of one to the center of the other in the front.
9" minimum from the center of one to the center of the other in the rear.
That said, I use these: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/ZA33471.
I use dual filament on both front and rear. For the rear, you will only need to use 2 of the 3 wires.
