I've been talking via email with Heli Modified about getting a set of Helibars for my '03 ZX-6R. They say they are going to start making them soon, but don't have a bike handy right now to make a prototype. They also said if someone would let them borrow a 6R for a couple of weeks, they would cut him/her a deal on a set of bars.
For those who have never heard of Helibars, they are replacement clip-ons that are slightly higher and closer than the stock bars. Typically around 1 5/8" higher and 1/2" nearer, which makes the bike more comfortable to ride.

If you do get something going, please keep me updated so I know when to inquire about getting a set of bars from them. Maybe they'll give me a deal to!
For borrowing a bike in the beginning of the season for a couple of weeks the "deal" better be a FREE set of Helibars!!!

Harry and the gang are great people and put on a heck of a feed!
The year I bought my bars for the TL they invited me up to a BBQ and ride they put on. That was a great time!
If I had a 636 for them to borrow they'd have one!
for Helibars!
