Yes, yes it is the full-on zoot capri big bumper model. It's survived many miles of very non-smooth riding surfaces so far. The unit bobbles around at very low revs, but is fine otherwise. And, I'm less ascared to turn my back on it, since it has that sort-of locking device.Originally posted by JackMan
ChR1s, is that the touratech mount with the built-in "shock absorbers"? I broke down and bought one of those for my Pegaso, but I'm still scared of riding over anything but perfectly smooth asphalt with the 276c turned on.
BTW, would the Pegaso accept a 140-spec rear tire? The Michelin Man has some T66s he's looking to unload, but my KLR prefers a 130.

I chose the 276C over the 2610 solely for the purpose of dual-sport riding. If I'd only planned to stay on pavement, and often use the unit in a cage, I'd probably have opted for the 2610, and made due.For dual-sport riding/exploring, the Topo maps are a must have.
Here are some 276C screenshots. They're converted from .BMP source files to smaller .JPGs.

Life is a challenge. You can take the risk and experience it, or sit back and watch it go by. I choose to experience it. (W.L.Heath)
Fear is the incubated subjective perception of the inevitable.
That's encouraging about the durability with the mount. I have the locking one too. Probably the strangest device I've ever bought, nobody knows what the hell it is when I leave it off the bike. Now if I could just find a place to mount it where it won't block half my instruments...Originally posted by ChR1s

The Pegger can barely take a 140 (I'm told). I barely have any miles on my Tourances though. Need to ride more.![]()
