Well it looks like things are going to change
Soup :: Another One Bites The Dust :: 07-27-2007
I rode down there today and met up with a friend, had breakfast, then checked out the bikes and enjoyed talking to some fellower riders.
In several articles that I read they quoted that they hope to return the Car meets and the Sunday Bike gathering but once the Strip mall is in there I have a feeling that the new store owners aren't going to want all us bikers there on Sundays.
I can remember first hearing about it in a Kawaski ad and then my first times there and how wild they were - people racing up & down the strip, burn outs, wheelies - all fun to watchThen the cops began to show up and it mellowed out but it was fun for a Sunday meet up then off to some twisity back roads.
Well Time will tell.

Back in the day I lived in Westchester County NY
I am so old that when I 1st started going to Marcus around 78 we would meet up with like 8 guys and then zoom around the area on cafe'd Kawis and Hondas

who wants to hang out at a strip mall anyway? im sure theres another ice cream stand or comparable place you guys could start meeting at.
Well it's not a regular hang out place for me. It's just one of those original motorcycle places . (everyone knows where it is - young & old)
When I was there a few weeks ago there were a group of riders from Canada an a few from North Carolina. The guys from NC heard about the place and decided that they wanted to check it out. Not that I'd ride that far to check it out![]()
I take the trip down every once in a while, it's just fun to see all the different bikes and meet with people, then you head out riding. Normally I try to stay away from cities and find the back roads but I try to visit it a few times a year.

Who wants to "hang out" anyways? I bought a damned motorcycle to ride it, not to ride it, park it, and pet the dicks of fellow motorcycle owners.
I never got the marcus dairy thing anyways.
They should call Production Twins what it really is, Shitty McBikefest. Rules for Participation: If your bike runs lower laptimes than a lawnmower, you are not eligibile for Shitty McBikefest. -Darrell

Hmm really didn't know it was such a hotspot. Heard about it here and there, but never knew it was that popular. Maybe I should try checking it out before it becomes a mall.
TegRacer324 - It OK - might be worth just checking once just to say you've been there. It nowhere like it use to be in the past.
Rebelpacket, As for "petting dicks"that's not for me, but hey for each his own, I'll just make sure I'm not around

When we go we don't just hang aroundIt's no different than stopping a getting a coffee and talking before a ride
